(About Project)
Project Overview:
A dynamic multi-layered sports graphic poster featuring Arsenal FC forward Bukayo Saka. This piece blends modern sports aesthetics with historical London imagery to celebrate Saka’s journey, connection to the city, and status as a fan favorite.
Design Concept & Storytelling:
The artwork bridges history and contemporary sports culture. The background features a subtle overlay of Charles Booth’s historic 1898–99 Map of London Poverty alongside iconic London architecture (Big Ben), symbolizing Saka's deep roots in the city and his rise to prominence.
Key Technical Details:
Composition & Depth: Layered multiple poses—from an emotional, upward-looking focal portrait down to full-body action shots—creating a strong visual hierarchy and movement.
Color Grading & Lighting: Dramatic red and high-contrast lighting applied to the subject cutouts to align seamlessly with Arsenal’s signature color scheme.
Textural & Vector Elements: Custom geometric overlays, perspective speed lines, halftone textures, and hand-drawn star accents bring energy and modern streetwear artwork flair to the composition.
