(About Project)
FC Barcelona Social Media Rebrand is a comprehensive conceptual visual identity redesign engineered to elevate digital matchday storytelling through high-contrast imagery, bold condensed typography, and a unified gold-accented color palette. Built as a streamlined sports graphic system, the project balances high-energy player composites with minimalist graphic elements to deliver a cohesive look across digital channels.
Overview:
The primary objective of the FC Barcelona Social Media Rebrand was to design a high-impact digital visual identity that elevates matchday content while maintaining brand consistency. I focused on stripping back visual noise to highlight essential player moments spanning official Matchday announcements, Starting XI lineups, Man of the Match honors, manager quotes, Full Time scoreboards, and upcoming fixture slates.
Challenge:
Sports social media pipelines often struggle with fragmented layouts, inconsistent lighting across photo assets, and visual clutter caused by competing badges, sponsors, and text. Balancing complex match information such as kick-off times, competition logos, and squad formations without obscuring core player visual storytelling created friction across different content formats.
Solution & Outcome:
I implemented a structured graphic system featuring monochrome gold crest treatments, heavy condensed display typography, and a rich Blaugrana color grade enhanced with dark halftones and textured backgrounds. By standardizing component layouts and typographic hierarchy across every template, the final concept delivers a premium, fluid aesthetic that strengthens brand identity and boosts fan engagement from pre-match build-up to final whistle.
